A woman named Annalaine Revilla sought the help of Raffy Tulfo on December 2, 2019. She said she is a former personal assistant of a teen star.

Tulfo refused to name the teen star in his program “Wanted sa Radyo,” which is streamed live Mondays to Fridays on his YouTube account named Raffy Tulfo in Action. According to Revilla, she refers to the teen star as Manika, the Filipino word for the actress’s name.

While the teen star was not directly named on “Wanted sa Radyo,” a lot of clues helped the netizens guess that she is Barbie Imperial. Tulfo said he had already talked to the young actress via phone prior to the program.

Also, Tulfo mentioned that the teen star is being managed by Star Magic. Imperial is currently under the training and management subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation.

The “Wanted sa Radyo” host went on to say that the teen star is featured in a calendar. Imperial is the 2020 calendar girl of the Filipino rum brand Tanduay.

While they referred to the actress as a teen star on “Wanted sa Radyo,” Imperial is already 21 years old. She was born in Daraga, Albay, Philippines on August 1, 1998.

In 2015, Imperial joined the Philippine version of “Big Brother” called “Pinoy Big Brother.” In 2018, she rose to fame when she played the lead female character in the ABS-CBN series “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi.”

According to Revilla, she was employed only as a personal assistant for the actress but she served more than that as she also functioned as a maid for the actress’s mother and brother. What was worse was that the complainant only received 7,000 pesos as her monthly salary, which is way lower than minimum wage in Metro Manila.

Revilla claimed that the young actress had told another person that her former personal assistant was a thief. This was the main point of the complainant’s sentiment but she also emphasized that the actress badly needed attitude overhaul.

After the live episode of “Wanted sa Radyo,” Tulfo and Revilla had a phone conversation with the young actress. In the end, it turned out that Revilla did not have enough evidence to sue the actress for cyber libel.

On the other hand, the young actress said she was willing to pay Revilla in relation to her insufficient salary. The complainant demanded for public apology but the actress refused to do it saying that she did not humiliate her former personal assistant in public in the first place.

But it appears that Revilla and the young actress are on their way to reconciliation. Watch their conversation with Tulfo as the referee here:AdvertisementsD
